What if Acer Notebook Caps Lock, Num Lock, Fn Key Indicator / OSD Not Working

Solution for On Screen Display (OSD) Problem
There is the simple solution if Online Screen Display (OSD) like Caps Lock, Num Lock, Fn Key Indicator is not working on Acer Notebook. If you are having these Problems, it may be “Launch Manager Application” on your notebook is not installed or not working properly. To solve these problems, you need to Plug in your AC Adapter and follow steps provided below.

01.   Visit Acer official website http://www.acer.co.uk, go to “Support” then “Drivers and Manuals” Section.
02.   Select Product, since you are looking for solution for your notebook, you need to select “Notebook” from the List suggested.
03.   Now Select “Series” of the Product like “Aspire” and then Choose Model Number like “Aspire E1-531” from the list displayed and wait for a moment.
04.   Select your “Operating System” from the Drop down list
05.   Now click on “Application” tap and then click on “Download” link to download “LaunchManager” software.
06.   Save this application on your computer hard drive.

Note: Launch Manager Application is downloaded in .ZIP Format, so before you install this application, you need to Extract or UNZIP this file. See the following Steps to Extract ZIP file and install Launch Manager Application on your Notebook.

01.   Right click on the ZIP File and select “Extract Here”, you will find a Folder with Same Name as the Downloaded File will be created on the same location.
02.   Open this Folder, Right Click on “Setup.Exe” or “Install.Exe” file and then click “Run as Administrator”. After prompting, click on “Yes” or “Allow” to continue to start installation.
03.   After successfully installation, Re-start your system. You have done.
